What distinguishes our courses from others in Science Communication is our emphasis on walking the talk, our insistence that students do not produce only academic theses that sit on library shelves, but creative works that go into the public domain, be it a film, book, website or any other creative endeavour involving the communication of scientific information.

The Centre for Science Communication offers the following qualifications in science communication: PhD, Certificate in Science Communication (unendorsed), Postgraduate Diploma in Science Communication, Masters in Applied Science and Masters in Science Communication. From time to time it also offers short courses in aspects of science communication.

Please review the information below for more information about the different course options offered by the Centre for Science Communication and to learn more about the degree that’s best suited for your particular situation.
